The role of individuals hired to design projects for NLC is that of an independent contractor. As a contractor, you will be expected to provide complete design projects within a specified time, and contractors are expected to be available to communicate with NLC during specified times.
The amount of time that it may take contractors to complete design projects may vary. Contractors are not required to work any set number of hours, and contractors are paid based on the number of projects that are completed, and not on the number of hours that are worked.
Company communication is held between the hours of 8AM to 4PM EST Standard time, US.
Contractors have no obligations to work exclusively with NLC and are therefore free to work on other projects for other third parties. NLC does expect contractors to perform work in a professional manner, and contractors should make sure that their work for other entities does not cause them to produce unacceptable or inappropriate work for NLC. Additionally, contractors should ensure that their work with NLC does not cause any breaches of agreements with any other third-party for which the contractors may also be providing services.
Contractors are expected to sign a Non-Compete agreement which will prevent them from providing the same services to other identified entities, mainly clients of NLC, during the time that the contractors are also providing services to NLC.
NLC usually employs contractors to provide services for a definite period of time. During this time, contractors will work on a number of projects. The time required to complete projects may vary, depending on the complexity of the project.
Absolutely! Our team is stacked with designers from all over the world! No matter where a contractor for NLC is located, and no matter what services the contractor provides for NLC, the contractor should be able to legally provide services to NLC and should not breach any other agreements by providing services to NLC.

Although NLC utilizes the services of contractors all over the world, the contractors must be able to write and read English fluently.
Contractors are required to complete a short English exam during the application process.
The operational hours of NLC are from 8am until 4pm, United States Eastern time, on Monday through Friday.
Contractors for NLC are not required to work a set number of hours. However, any projects submitted to the Company must be submitted during the operational hours of NLC. Representatives for NLC will be available to address any concerns from contractors during the company’s operational hours.

You will be sent to the Application Processed page as a confirmation. We do our best to reach out to each applicant whether or not they are selected for an interview. If you do not hear from us within 2 weeks it is because we have not chosen to pursue your application at this time.

The test design is an unpaid project that is designed to test and showcase your general design skills. We use this required test, along with your portfolio and other application details to determine if you could be a good fit for our team.
This is a mock client project and in no way will be used to earn compensation by our company. You are free to apply a watermark on your sample designs without affecting the validity of our test.
We do not grant the rights to use our test design in your personal designs portfolio.
We offer weekly payments based on the work load tier you are hired.
Team members are paid via online payment platforms. Our preferred platform is Payoneer, however we can accommodate PayPal accounts when necessary
We currently send payments each and every week.
We have a complex assignment structure for our design team. Designers are hired into tiers of the capacity they can handle each day. This accurate scheduling helps to eliminate the need for extra hours being worked.
Team members are even rewarded for most official U.S. holidays.
Starting payments will be determined by several factors including skill set, volume of work and other variables.
